Every now and then I pinch myself to make sure I’m not dreaming. Not many writers are fortunate enough to have a mystery series that goes on for over 20 books. I’m so very grateful to my readers for making this possible, because you really are responsible. Every time I ask my publisher how much longer the Gaslight Mystery Series can go on, they say, “For as long as readers keep buying them!”

So thank you for buying them, and for telling your friends and family about them, too.
I also appreciate our support for my new Counterfeit Lady Series. The first book, City of Lies, came out in 2017, and it is now out in paperback, if you missed it. The second book, City of Secrets, was published on November 13, 2018. This series is a bit different from the Gaslight Series because the books are more capers than mysteries. Elizabeth Miles is a con artist who accidentally gets arrested with a group of suffragists who are demonstrating for women’s right to vote. She quickly becomes a convert and reforms from her illegal ways, but she discovers that she can still use her con artist skills in her new life to get justice for those in need.

I fully intend to continue writing both series for as long as fans continue to buy them. I hope you’ll continue to enjoy them and to tell your friends and family about them, too. My latest gaslight mystery, Murder on Trinity Place, was released on April 30, 2019.

Please send me an email at victoria@victoriathompson.com to let me know what you think of the books and to get on my mailing list so I can send you a reminder each time a new book comes out. Because of the large volume of email I receive, I may not be able to personally reply to each one, but I do read them. You may also visit me on Facebook at Victoria.Thompson.Author and Twitter @gaslightvt. I’ll keep you posted on upcoming releases and appearances.
Hello to all of my readers!
